Becoming a Volunteer

Trustee Board members required

Green Door is looking to increase its number of trustees, if you feel you can offer one evening a month please contact us. We vote in trustees annually, for more info visit our AGM page, but you can apply to become a volunteer at any time throughout they years, so please apply even after the annual voting for trustees is over as new trustees can be added at any time.

Becoming a volunteer…

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help Green Door grow.

If you feel you have skills, enthusiasm or knowledge and are prepared to contribute, we would love to hear from you.

We pay travel expenses to those who are willing to contribute.

Please call us on 07988357447 to register your interest, or contact Julian Perks on:- julian@green-door.org.uk

Do you like Canoeing or Kayaking?

If you like canoeing or kayaking or would like to try it, Green Door is hoping to have a permanent canoeing and kayaking project with our own fleet of boats and equipment to make canoeing and kayaking accessible to as many people as possible. If we are successful in our Lottery Bid we will be the only place in the UK to offer the specialist equipment to make paddling more accessible to more people with disabilities. This means both able bodied and  disabled people will be able to enjoy the sport side by side.

As such we are looking to recruit volunteers who may have an interest in becoming a volunteer for this activity. People who wish to volunteer will get the opportunity to do the 2 star performance certificate and possibly go on to  their level 1 coach.
