Our much-loved, well-established and hugely successful accessible cycle hire service is based at Westport Lake. Operating 6 days a week for 11 months of the year, we have an extensive range of equipment for everyone to enjoy a relaxing and invigorating ride around the large lake. If our equipment is not specifically adapted, it is possible to make it so. Among the thousands of beneficiairies we support every year are individuals and groups from special schools, residential, nursing and daycare facilities. Aswell as many referrals from Occupational theparists, physiotherapists and The Amputee Rehabilitation Service.

Our accessible canoeing & kayaking is held mainly during school holidays in Victoria Park, Tunstall, Queen's Park, Longton and Hanley Park. We have a good selection of canoes and kayaks - both single and twin. Five of the fleet are specifically adapted for those with disabilities. However, they can also be used by anyone if available.

Green Door is mainly supported by volunteers. Without their hardwork, dedication, passion and belief in our work, we would simply be unable to deliver of life-changing activities. They are the lifeblood of the organisation - supported and mentored by our two staff members who are funded by through support from The National Lottery Community Fund.
